I've just had enough of dealing with DD's DF and the stunts he pulls - and not being able to do anything about it!! He has been booking foreign holidays, buying football season tickets etc so not hard up. And I wouldn't begrudge any of that normally BUT - CM has been cut to the bare minimum as he's submitted his tax return claiming to be earning 25% less!! He has always had an issue with the amount he's had to pay and now he's probably delighted with this outcome.
Stunt number 2 - just this week on his contact days he has used babysitters twice!! Just let her stay home with me if you can't be bothered to parent!!

The first issue is pretty poor

The second not so much. Parents use babysitters. It’s part of ‘normal parenting‘. How often does he have her ?

I get that parents use babysitters but if you're only having your DD one weeknight per week I don't think you should prioritise football over seeing her?

The way our contact time is layed out by the courts means that we have hardly any free time. You would use other family members as sitters if you had made plans if you where a family unit & not separated, annual leave only goes so far.

It's not unreasonable to expect someone else to have the children now and again if you had a party or wanted to go out for a meal. What happens if you decide to start dating again?

Our contact is based on 4 days each on an 8 day rota (50/50) the other 4 days within the 8 are work days & that works both ways for both parties..
