Dating during divorce

It sounds like divorce will take a quite a few months. As much as it scares the bejeezus out of me, I want to start dating. At what stage during divorce proceedings did you start dating?

Just start.
OLD is like plunging into a lake. You have to dive in, you'll come up gasping, ploughing up mud as you kick frantically. Eventually you'll settle into a rhythm, the water will clear and you'll swim off into the sunset.
Figure on about 20 dates with different guys before you even get used to old.
Beware catfish. Anyone not referencing something you say in their conversation - be suspicious it's a bot. Assume they are not real until you meet at a venue you pick.
You might find after the initial novelty you want to pull back and work on getting to know who you are as a single entity. But don't do this until/if it makes sense and feels right to you.

I am in the middle of divorce and totally put off having another relationship ! Hopefully I will feel better in time but I am focusing on getting a puppy ( which my ex would never allow )

With the best will in the world, I'm not going to get what I need from a puppy.

Erm... About 3 months after we separated. We'd had a couple of sessions of counseling. Ex made it clear during them that he blamed my behaviour for his cheating on me...I kid you not.

So from that point it was clear divorce was the only way forward, so off I went OLD. I had SOOO much fun discovering who I was on there!
