How might assets be split in this scenario?

Married six years, no children.

Assets accumulated during the marriage worth £200k.

Partner A is mid 30s and earns £80k
Partner B earns mid 40s and earns £215k

Would this likely be a 50/50 split?

Can’t they agree to split based on share of assets brought to the marriage and financial contributions during ?
I know the law may not state that but it’s not a long marriage and neither is disadvantaged by marriage so they’re just 2 Individuals who happen to earn differently

In my experience of going through the process, yes it would be 50/50 based on marital pot being a joint asset, regardless of who put what in, and assuming you both have the same needs. I’m not sure about pensions, but def need to consider those. Of course, you could agree something different and get a solicitor to once over before applying to courts, and as long as it is deemed fair I would think it would be ok.
