Just looking for some advice to make sure I understand this process correctly and there's not something I'm missing/going down the wrong route.
I'm soon to start divorce proceedings (we've been separated 5 months). We have no assets, just debt that is all in my name but that he has agreed to pay me for his portion. i have, on the whole, been receiving this monthly payment from him up until this point.
From reading online we need to draw up a consent order if we agree on the amounts. Is this correct? The examples given online are only about dividing assets and not about debt so is this still what I need to do to make it legally enforceable or do I have to go down a different route?
