What Split?

Hello I'm asking for a friend.

Couple very early 50s. Both married previously. No children together. Both have children from previous marriages all over 18.

Been together about 10 years. Married for eight.

They share a house which has a mortgage. He has a business. She earns circa 30k. He much more with business.

Would it be a 50/50 split although the marriage was relatively short?

I’d suggest there is some chance not if 50:50 as no joint children, no minor children and wife is earning
Of course lots of factors for consideration and a solicitor will be able to assess and advise
