I have posted before and got some great help. My decree nisi will come through next week. My dh is very verbally abusive and had an anger problem, he had told me he wanted kids 50/50 and because of that house equity will be split 50/50. My solicior said as I have been primary carer for 10 years ( even since he has worked at home ) I should be able to get more equity to buy somewhere for me and kids and not have to ask him for support, I earn very little part time but hoping to get more hours. I can't afford court. He shouted at my son and called him a spoilt brat last nigtt( just because he was busy doing something and didn't hear him say bye ) he was very upset and is such a good boy. DH is self employed and has started turning down work, he doesn't want me to have anything....i have been up all night worrying about kids and did if I have make the wrong decision, I can't see my life being any better sadly and worry much about the future..
