Finally get the courage and strength to end up very rocky relationship but being oversee born no idea how to start the separation process. We are not married but bought property together. All the deposit came from my savings but was super naive and didn’t reflect it when buying…of course now he says half of the property is his and I am super desperate to move on with my life with the kids and really don’t want to loose half of my savings that I put into property. The family was never his priority so the money would go on hobbies etc. and really don’t want to loose it because of my stupidity…Do I stand any chance to get my savings back or do I have accept the lost?I couldn’t buy on my own but managed to save a deposit that came from my account (so have a proof) but when buying we registered as 50-50 owners. I also overpaid the mortgage a lot. Really don’t want to be stuck with him and don’t want to loose my savings. Do I stand now any chance to change land register now to reflect money I put in?
