Yes me, do we know if it will be any cheaper?

GoodnightGrandma · 02/09/2021 11:43

I’ve no idea.
I want to go but I’ve no reason to at the moment, it’s just a gradual not wanting to be with him anymore.

Are you still living together? I'm in the same situation none of the reasons apply, there's just a huge amount of distance between us and it feels like we're strangers in the same house. I'm hoping it will cost less though, we don't have the money spare.

GoodnightGrandma · 02/09/2021 15:49

Yes we’re still living together, he doesn’t know I want to separate. I just can’t start that conversation.
Like you, we’re just two people living in a house. It’s the kids making it bareable, but the youngest will move on soon.

Why are you waiting rather than just crack on?
I dont think it will make it cheaper
If you both agree to divorce just agree who will divorce who now and crack on

The expensive part is usually the financial settle to - and that won’t change in a no fault divorce

Indeed, I think the no-fault process may take a little longer than current practice for behaviour-based divorces.
