Super amicable separation stories?

I'm looking for positive experiences of separating very amicably? My husband and I have been separated for a few months, birdbesting with our 2 children. We are super amicable and best friends. Sexless marriage for years so it's come to a sad end. We have discussed how to move things on as I'm not enjoying being at the flat and agree how to co-parent with the kids living mainly with me. We have no issues being around each other. We get on well and support each other with the kids. We both agree we want to keep the family unit together as much as possible. We are perfectly happy to eat together shop together blah blah. So we are thinking he will come and go from the family home as we need and the flat will become his. He will take the kids there for a sleepover here and there but no set days.

Anyone do anything like this?

We've spoke about dating and we know it will happen. It's not an issue in itself really unless one of us were to get serious with someone although that wouldn't happen overnight anyway.

Positive experiences? Xx
