Do i need to change my name back to miss straight away

You don't need to change it if you don't want.

You don’t need to charge your name at all if you don’t want to.

I've kept my married name! Easier to be the same surname as my child, and also known professionally so loathed to switch back!

It's up to you. I kept my married name because I wanted to have the same name as my kids but lots of people go back to their maiden name

What about changing back to miss from mrs

I changed from Mrs married name to Miss married name simply by changing it on my driving license and bank accounts etc. That's all I needed to do and was accepted. I never claimed any married person allowance so nothing major to do there. I was known professionally by that name and as I travelled frequently for work would have meant changing passport if I went back to maiden name and would have likely meant a lot of questions from well meaning people on the name change where I prefer to keep my private life private.

The title mrs is honorific.. its what you chose to be called (or not). Its not enshrined in law. You could be miss, ms, mrs, whatever you want

Thank you for that Sausage. I don't want to be called Miss, I'm happy with Ms but not all forms have them so want to keep using Mrs where not available.

I’m keeping the name but using Ms instead of Mrs. I hated my maiden name anyway!
