Advice please

My husband and I are going to divorce, we made the decision this morning. I need to speak to a solicitor which I shall call tomorrow but I need some advice please.
I would like to move back to the area my family live in, which is about 180 miles away. How likely is this to happen? Stbeh is abusive and I have no one here where I currently live apart from ds. I Know that he will not be happy with this and will probably do everything in his power to stop it but I have to at least try.

He could potentially get a court order to stop you, a prohibited steps order to prevent you moving. He could get this quite quickly.

How will contact be facilitated? You need to be able to answer these Qs. How old is DS?

Have you been in touch with any charities? DV charities?

Thank you @Lockdownlifting12344555 ds is 7 no I haven't contacted any dv charity's but I will definitely do that tomorrow when he isn't home. He travels a lot for work to that part of the country prior to covid so he could see ds then and during holidays etc. I'm also currently not a driver but this will change once I pass my test. I could then bring ds to his dad's. It is probably likely he will try to stop me but thank you for the advice.
