Solicitor not in local area

Is it alright to have a solicitor who lives and practices far away in a different county? I've spoken to a few and the one I like lives a few hours away from me. Would this be a disadvantage in some way?

It's all zoom anyway atm

Shouldn't be a problem. I did this deliberately due to DV and not wanting ex to know the exact area I was in.
