I am in a very fortunate position that my ex and myself own our family home - no mortgage.

He is happy to sign the house over to me. Does anyone know how we do this please? I know I need to change the deeds which is through the land registry but which forms do we need completely please? TIA

TR1 I think - we've just signed it.
It looked super complicated at first glance so we paid for solicitors to fill it in. Mistake. It was v easy.

Get hold of your deeds though to see if they list anyone you need to inform.

Thank you I will have a look at the link.

My ex is talking about getting someone to do it for us but I would prefer to do itself & save the money!

Ours charged 500 quid.
We had done mediation, had the house valued and knew exactly what the share was worth.
