Pension question

Hello

Married for 15 years, two children. Gave up work to have children/sahm. Husband has a large private pension and I've got very little. We are amicable and not initiating a divorce yet but was wondering what is the normal split with this if anyone knows or am I likely to be a screwed in my old age now if I get that far?

Thanks in advance.

It depends on many other factors. In principle you should get a share of the pension he has built up, but that doesn't make up for future pension divergence.

We are choosing for me to get payments on retirement as it's a good pension scheme, but dp split his pot at divorce

@minniemoocher ah that's interesting that it can work like that. Thanks.
