Final Hearing for finance wait

Hi everyone.

I have a second hearing for finance in March. I doubt we will settle then unfortunately as he is being unreasonable and untruthful with his earnings etc.

Does anyone know when the final hearing would likely to be as I’ve heard that there may be quite a wait.

I think it probably depends on where you are in the country.
I had an order granted for a final hearing at the beginning of November, and I still don’t have a date. I even called the court last week and was told I’m still on the list to be listed 🙄

I haven’t actually had a hearing since Dec 2019 though - my solicitor put forward the order for a final hearing to bypass a 4th attempt at a first hearing & then an fdr because I was so fed up that nothing had happened for nearly a year! Thankfully the judge agreed - but over 3 months on I still don’t even have a date. I’ve been told I’ll be lucky if I have it before July now.

I had to wait 6 months for first appointment and thought that was bad enough. Mine will have to go to at least FDR and I am hoping that won't be too far away... however it sounds like it could be a long time...

Hello, has he disclosed his finances? Think it is the Form E. My ex currently telling untruths to me and my solicitor. Surely it must be a criminal offence to lie on official documents?
