What can I do in this situation?

I am currently in the process of divorcing my stbxh. We both still live in the FMH. He pays the mortgage and I pay the bills. I have noticed that he purposely waits till I'm in bed to turn the heating on. Last month my bill was high and I think he's doing this on purpose knowing I pay the bills. What can I do in this situation? Has anyone been through something like this with someone nasty?

I would really appreciate some advice, as I feel like strangling this man.

Tbh everyone's bills are high and I've had the heating on overnight it's been that cold.
It may not be spite.
Discuss splitting mortgage and bills 50/50?
Go for counselling to divorce without animosity and discuss these kind of issues. We have. It's £65 an hour but we both agree it's saved us a fortune in the long run and really helped us both move on. She does zoom calls if you want me to recommend her.

@PicaK My stbxh has a programmer/controls for the heating for his bedroom specifically. So when he switches on the heating it doesn't turn the heating on in his room, just the rest of the house. He turns on the heating for the rest of the house before he goes to his room and when we shared a room, regardless of winter he slept with the window open and complained about having the heating on. His behaviour indicates that it's being purposely done.

I have suggested that we both do counselling during the relationship and during the divorce, for the sake of our child and he's refused. Thank you for your offer though.
