Me and my wife has been married since 2014 but together for 14yrs! She sprung it on me about a week ago that she wants to end it!...me as a guy is devastated!...we chatted a bit so I can understand why...she saying I've don't give her enough attention and lost what we had in common...over the past few years I've changed my field of work and had to learn a new trade fast and it was a steep learning curve, I was stressed out sometimes but tried so hard to meet deadlines, but sadly not intended I didn't focus on our relationship enough and also moved to a bigger house.. more pressure on bills!...and to top it off my mum died with bowl cancer then shortly after my dad went too!...I moved across country to be with my wife..but it's all come crashing down...any advice please oh and she won't even consider fixing the marriage

It sounds like it's knocked you for six, I'm sorry. It sounds as if having marriage counselling is not going to be an option.
Do you have children?
In terms of sorting things out, if you are going to split then mediation would be a good first step and I'd suggest seeing a solicitor also to know where you stand and what your options might be.
