Form E question

Soopermum1 · 09/01/2021 14:30

I'm busy gathering everything to submit the form E and supplementary documentation to the court.

I'm due to exchange form E with my ex, but do I also send him the same supplementary info? Bank statements etc, or just the form with the numbers?

I'm in the process of doing mine and from what I've been told you need to supply the same bundle with supplementary evidence you are providing to the court.

You need to send them all supporting paperwork also. Any omissions will be spotted. Be as thorough as possible.

@Soopermum1 can I ask if you're self representing? I'm about to complete my
Form E, am acting as litigant in person and feeling very overwhelmed

In my experience STBX wrote a load of ol cr*p and made stuff up, which so far has not been questioned bu the judge.

I told the truth. I'd blooming love the judge to pick up on STBX spending habits and lack of evidence for savings etc. So far not.

Rainbowdropz · 09/02/2021 21:36

@PasturesN3w I'm assuming you're waiting on your second hearing date to negotiate the settlement?

The Order's been done and sorted. Just waiting to get the thumbs-up from the Judge, then wait statutory 28 days for pensions do-dahs to got though, then I get to push the button (through u.gov website) on the ol' Absolute, plus wait the however long it takes after that zzzzzzzzzzz

Rainbowdropz · 10/02/2021 12:23

@PasturesN3w you're basically at the finish line. How long did the process take all in all? I'm only just about to have my first hearing soon and I want it all over with asap.

I petitioned in Oct 2019 using U.gov website, we went to Mediation and got an Actuary involved the pension allocations. Got Nisi in Apr 2020 did the consent order and sent it off in Oct 2020, in the Dec there were some queries from the judge, we answered them and the judge has got the Order for second review/reading Jan 2021. Waiting for the ok (hope to God it's not another question) then we're good for the Absolute all being well. But it's taking so flipping looooonnnnnggggg zzzzzzzzzzz
