Cheap divorce

Hi. We don't have children and have had some trouble for sometime. We would like to go for a cheap divorce. We don't want anything from each other financially, we own a flat together which is our main asset which we could keep/rent or sell but can be handled by us I think. What would be the procedure to file for a divorce and has anyone gone through this? Any tips would be helpful. We are looking for simple, inexpensive and quick if possible.

Look at this, OP.

If in England...
Simplest steps might be...

Petition (pay fee?)
Respondent acknowledges petition
Petitioner applies to court (pay big fee)
Decree Nisi
D-something form, and a load of other documention that goes with consent order which you can mostly do yourself all sent to court (big fees)
Decree Absolute awarded
