Ex partner compliments

My ex has supervised visits with our daughter (she's 5) so I see him with her every Sunday. He's taken to complimenting me a lot and when we leave he texts to say thanks for meeting up etc and repeats the compliments.

It makes me really uncomfortable, I don't like it and I have told him to stop but he keeps saying it. I was the one who ended the relationship and don't find him attractive any longer.

What would you do in my situation? The only thing I can think to do is say really harshly to stop it. When he texts like that I just ignore it.

Just ignore it. If it was insults you'd get tilt the same thing. It's a form of manipulation and control.

Thank you. I have made it very clear that we will not get back together and when he talks like that I just ignore it, but it weirds me out.
