Child contact. I’m in panic mode

Please help.

My abusive ex who has managed to get away away with everything he’s done to us has applied for 50/50 contact.

This terrifies me as he not only hits abs gaslights them and he was on drugs.

I’ve offered him an alternative but he has declined.

He works full time flexible shifts but can’t do both school runs abs says his mum will have them half a day. This leaves me without childcare too as no childminder will have them every other week FFS.

Honestly I hate him so much. I really need help. I am seeking legal advice obviously. But just need someone to tell me he won’t get them all this time 😢

Do you have evidence of the abuse? Have you raised concerns in the OST about him hitting the dc? This will all help in a court case

What’s the OST?

Yes there’s evidence of abuse. Videos. Apologies. Etc. He’s always got away with hitting and biting and dragging the children as it’s acceptable punishment.

If you've got video evidence of him hitting the kids then he can want 50/50 as much as he likes! He'd be lucky to get supervised contact. And make sure you ask the court for him to take a drugs test. And make sure its a hair one, not a urine one.

Not him actually hitting them but the after math. And of him yelling at us etc. Calling me names.

What’s the OST?

I meant to write 'in the past' but autocorrect had other ideas.
