Can anyone explain to me legal aid?

Now I’m being taken to court I apparently have to apply for full legal aid?
This is for divorce and child care

You have to establish that you are a victim of domestic abuse to qualify for legal aid (you can find a complete list of the evidence that can be used to establish this with Legal Aid Agency with a quick google search)

If you can prove this your income (and some allowed deductions) has to be under a certain amount or you have to be on certain benefits.

Find a legal aid lawyer and they can explain it to you.
