50/50 Shared Care

I feel pretty isolated as a mum as for seven years now I have only had my boys for half of the time (week on, week off). This was decided by the Courts when they were just 3 and 6. They are now 10 and 13.

Is anybody in a similar position?

I feel the decision was very wrong for many reasons, not least because my youngest was so young.

I have the same arrangement and absolutely hate it - the time I have with my boys (11 and 13) feels too short and I don't feel like a proper parent. There is nothing I can do as ex has pushed it through courts 3 times to get to this and the boys do want it - but it's miserable

@Lorry123 I feel exactly the same, like I'm a "fake" mum somehow. How long has it been 50/50 for you?

I have 50/50 but 2-2-5-5.
I also did week and week about for a year and a bit.
I guess I feel like a bad parent but also have to see that if I push for more it necessarily means exh gets less and he wanted more too. Now less so - he is more interested in his DPs kids now...
