I'm planning to leave my 'd'H. I have read lots of posts on here about people divorcing who have houses and savings together - so they sell and that's how they move out as they have that money. We have no house as we live in military housing, and have very minimal savings (about £500). I've done a benefits calc (I'd have to give up work as I'd be moving 40miles away, but would look for work once settled) and know what I'd roughly be entitled to, which doesn't seem a huge amount when I'd be paying all the bills out of it. I'm an overthinker and a massive worrier so I don't know if it would be as bad as in my head.
Guess I'm just looking for success stories where people have got out of bad relationships and not ended up in a bad place financially?
