After 28 years together we have decided to separate. I can't even pinpoint what went wrong. We are more like good friends and things have just fizzled out. Everything is pretty amicable at the moment but he has moved into a different room while child number one of four is off at uni. As much as we still get on and work as a team for the kids, it is a bit weird - we haven't told the kids yet.
Anyone else have experience of still living together while separated?
Planning to stay like this for the foreseeable as child number 2 off to uni too next year and then two more children at secondary school. Couldn't really afford to get another property.
What with all this Covid business too, it's feeling pretty lonely in a house of 5
