Grounds for appeal

I had a final hearing in August for a child arrangements order which was heard by magistrates. It went pretty much in my favour. Now ex is preparing grounds for appeal. Has anyone been through this? How does it work? I had a feeling this would happen. He is adamant he will get what he wants.

What are his grounds for appeal? You have to have a reason to appeal and it can't just be "I didn't get the result I wanted so I'm going to appeal"

The appeal paperwork is saying that the welfare checklist was not adequately consulted and was instead used to reinforce the magistrates decision.

Hi Rachna,

Sorry to hear of your situation.
May I ask how old is your child? I wonder if the judge would listen to children when they want to be with the mum.
I want to move in a different town from where my ex is and I wonder what my options would be if he disagrees.
