Practicalities of splitting up

I'm trying to get a handle on our finances and do a budget.

I have applied for a new bank account, am in touch with a solicitor.

DH and I need to discuss children access and money though, so in the meantime what can I do to move things along?

For budget ;

Fixed costs : mortgage / utilities / groceries
Clubs / childcare
Variables : christmas / birthdays / holidays
Clothes
House maintenance / upkeep
Car servicing / payments / repairs
White good replacements potentially needed

Income :
Child maintenance ?
Child benefit ?

How will costs for children be split over and above maintenance payments?
How but also logistically? Settle end of every month / on the day
Communication of childcare / club info ? Specific whatsapp group with other careers / grandparents so all communication is seen.
