Trust Fund

My ex husband has tried to access my sons trust fund behind my back. He has never saved for son (ever) and the trust fund is in my name. He’d contacted HMRC to try & have it transferred without my knowledge. I’m mortified! Is this illegal? If so which law is being broken? Is this financial abuse? Is this fraud? Please help. I’m into year 9 of this man’s abusive behaviour because I wanted to divorce. I need to stop this behaviour & can’t afford a solicitor. X

Under the law he's an equal parent. You need to have a look at the terms of the trust fund.

I would say it's illegal. You set it up in your name and your child's name. Your ex has nothing to do with it.
