Custody 3-4-4-3 plans

Can anyone recommend any 3-4-4-3 custody plans?

Ideally, this would mean:

Week 1:

3 nights with parent 1
4 nights with parent 2

Week 2:

4 nights with parent 1
3 nights with parent 2

I think it would depend on how close the homes are to one another and to school and clubs they do, and how organised each parent is.

One of dd's friends does 50/50 and has done for many years. She's now 17. But the parents are in friendly terms, both are flexible and both are fairly organised in a relaxed way. So it works.

I'd be interested to hear more too and how do you work it so each parent gets a weekend?

Generally the older the child the longer the time with each parent.

In my own case, went from 1/2 week each, to one week each, to 2 weeks each, as the child aged.

Need to think about whether school terms and school holidays are the same or different -- again, age-related.

I always have my kids weds/thurs/fri nights. XH has them sun/mon/tues. We alternate Saturday nights so every fortnight I have them weds through to Sunday teatime which works well for my work pattern.
Will depend heavily on your jobs and location of schools. Kids (now 7 and 9) are used to the routine. It’s not perfect but fair as we both wanted kids as much as possible.
