Form E

What happens when your soon to be ex husband won't fill in his form E? What is the next step? He's busy spending hiding assets, even stooped so low as to report to police his most valuable items were stolen and blamed me! This way he gets to omit them from the divorce! It's unbelievable.

I think you have to proceed with a court hearing date where your ex will have to submit a Form E.

How do you know the assets are hidden, and not stolen as he says they are?

I know they are not stolen because he's purposely saying I took them (which of course I genuinely didn't and he has them hidden) he moved all his valuables out to his sons last September.

Do you have a court date? If so you will be required to exchange form E simultaneously a few weeks before hand.
However, my stbx didnt fill in his form E very well and left huge gaps. I assumed he would get into trouble... Unfortunately not yet as we still haven't made it to court as he's still stalling.
My advice is to do everything by the book your end. At least then you can show you have done what is required. These things take ridiculously long but I'm still hoping that because I have not hidden anything or been late, at least a judge will not be able to tick me off!! I know it's frustrating though.
