Feeling really strange today not helped by my current low mood but I found out today my absolute was issued on 29th, so just like that it’s done.
Although this was my decision and I’m content with it, I can’t help feeling a bit bleugh!
Told ExH on Valentine’s Day wanted to separate, started the divorce process in April, he moved out in August. Consent/Mesher order finalised in December and now the absolute. So a relatively smooth process and now onto my new life.

I got mine at the weekend. It is a strange feeling but after 18 months of hell and court I am ready to move & start new life in a new area. Good luck to you!

Now you are free to do what you want, go where you please, date or not as you wish. Congrats. It’s a fresh start. Grieve for what might have been for a short while if you need to but then dry those tears and get out and start living.
