Often you get the first 30 mins free but yes £300 an hour is normal

Yep normal as far as I am aware which is difficult if its a first meeting with them and you don't even know if they're any good. Prep beforehand, go in with a list of questions. Be as organised as you can.

My solicitors advice was do as much as you can yourself!

So I have done the nisi and form e just got him to check form e and draft consent order (ex and I agreed between ourselves so no disputes)

Absolute again I will do myself.

Coming in at about £1250 I think.

I had free half hour as well but he would only talk general not specifics.

Thanks. I'll make sure I do my prep and as much as possible myself. We don't have loads of assets to fight about and I'm buying him out of the house anyway. I just don't want to miss something crucial.

Yes, mine was that.

If both of you have pensions get CETV done. Also get any paperwork in relation to investments, savings, p60.

Think what you are getting divorced for i.e 2 year separation or unreasonable behaviour. I did the latter so had to give solicitor my reasons.

Application to court l think was £550
