Deemed service

My wife has received the divorce petition for unreasonable behaviour but has failed to respond.

I'm now looking at using deemed service. I already have proof that she has received the petition via a letter she sent back to my solicitor.

I understand that there is a court fee as well as costs incurred by the solicitors too.

Does anyone know how much work is required by the solicitors?

I'm speaking to my solicitors this week and will find out more information.

Stupid question but have you checked with her why she didn't do it? I didn't do mine to timescale because of stupid misunderstanding leading me to believe that I should just file the documents. Do that before spending extra.
