Help me with practical checklist

DH has told me he is thinking of ending it. He will let me know when he has decided. I don't really need advice on this as as far as I am concerned, it is over. My head is all over the place and I need to now be practical and get some things sorted. There are a couple of things I am doing, but please add some things I need to do.

Get DC's passports and keep hold of them.
Copies of financials, pay slips, insurances, bonuses, savings etc.
On a more trivial level - stock up on stuff whilst still la joint account. I think I read on here for me to have a years supply of things I need.
Copy of deeds of house.
Recommended a good solicitor and had 1/2 free consultation already. I am set to call them if/ when I need to.

I am planning on making a long list of my requirements

DH is actually being quite verbally abusive and very neglectful of his parenting duties. Does keeping a note of these make any difference?

Any tips. I can't think straight and getting stuff done is keeping me sane.
