I need some advice for my friend. She and her sons father separated over 5 years ago and he hasn’t had anything to do with their son since. She’s now with her new man and they’re getting married. They would like him to adopt, he’s been more of a dad to that boy.
The biological dad has been asked to give up parental rights and has now decided he wants to be in his sons life. It’s all going to court but he he keeps harassing her. Sending emails, texts, posting letters through the door! We have no idea where he got all her details. Now he’s sent her an email telling her he saw his son today out playing and asked what she would do if he approached him. He has a history of domestic violence etc and the whole situation has her on edge.
Just wondering if anyone has any advice or knows of any support groups I could direct her to. Thanks
