Child maintenance basic salary or years earnings?

Is child maintenance based off basic salary? H earns 85k basic salary but also has a large monthly car allowance and other bonuses. He made 101k last year. Is it just the basic amount taken into consideration?

clpsmum thanks. So the top line is his basic salary without 12k car allowance ? And without extra bonuses he may make?

It used to be based on the P60 at the end of the year.

P60 is the data CMS would use so that would likely include car allowance and bonuses as they are taxable
