Anyone think mediation is worth trying?

Me and the stbew are miles apart on what we think is a fair split of assets...we have a 12 yo daughter who will live with her except for every other weekend when i’ll have her..stbex wants 70/30 split of the house and a clean break meaning we keep our own pensions...hers are worth ten times what mine are worth

Why would she get higher % of house if her pensions are much higher ? They need to be factored in. Would definitely try mediation

What do you think is fair ?

She’s having a laugh mediation only works if you can come to a sensible agreement between yourself

Get proper advice why is her pension ten times more than yours

I think 50/50 is fairer as i put more into the house

how long have you been married

Together 13 years but only married 4 and half years.....she seem to think that its only her who has to put a roof over our daughters head
