Hi, I'm looking for anyones experience of an occupation order and non mol order. Should I self represent or can anyone recommend a mckenzie friend in South Bucks?
Stbxh is a heavy drinker, currently only working a couple of days a week, can be very abusive when drunk. Any experience of the process is appreciated, e.g. can I bring additional evidence to court, has anyone self represented, how long will it take to get him out the house , will there be more than hearing etc. TIA

Have you spoken to Citizens Advice? You may be entitled to Legal Aid. My family had both of these awarded but did not self represent. DM went through her solicitors though she wrote the application herself. I think you can seek advice from DVA (Domestic Violence Assist) who may be able to help you. It was all emotional abuse, not physical, and she still had both orders granted by the court because of unreasonable behaviour. I wish you all the best of luck with it, there is light at the end of the tunnel I promise.

Thank you, I will contact them. For us it is mostly the psychological damage too although he has been physically violent to me in the past and keeps threatening me.
