moving back home

I left the family home because it was my husbands business too, so I assumed I should leave. Rightly or wrongly I have no idea. Anyway we have started the process of reconciliation but he wont let me move back in despite staying over 2-3 (sometimes more) night per week.
What rights do I have to move back in?
I also think he changed the title deeds on the house , can he do this without my permission?

He can't stop you moving back in as it is jointly owned, just as you cannot force him to leave

If he has changed the deeds without your consent then he has committed fraud

Thanks Marie, thing is I dont know if I was on the deeds to start off with as there has been a modification since I left and wondered why.

But could I move back in without a fuss even if I wasnt on the deeds? It was built during our marriage and I was a SAHM for all our married life. Its complicated to say the least.

Are you on the mortgage OP?

@poundoflard I am puzzled as to how you were not aware whether you are on the deeds? However, if not that may explain how he has made an alteration.

You can ascertain ownership via the Land Registry but I suggest you hot foot it to a solicitor as they can slap a charge notice in the premises to prevent ownership being transferred, assuming he hasn't done it already

See a solicitor for a half hour free. Citizens advice Beaureau. They’ll give you heads up info on it.
