Hi ladies
Just looking for advise please. have court date coming up soon to sort financial settlement out . Ex has not negotiated for a long period and made things very difficult.
Long marriage , 20 plus years and 3 children, one still a teenager.
I work part time where he earns 4 times more than me and big pension.
I am getting worried about how it is all going to pan out and just wondered if anyone could share their stories of how their divorce settlement turned out .
Many thanks

Any reason why you only work part time if your youngest is a teenager. I think you’ll be expected to maximise your earnings and work full time. You’ll likely be awarded larger % of assets

Everyone’s case will be different So knowing the outcome of those probably won’t shed much light. What is your solicitor proposing is fair and what is your ex really disputing ?

Is it the FDA or FDR date you have? If its the FDA this is just the initial meeting where the judge sets out documents to be produced. Nothing much happens. Mine was 10 Minutes.

What had you negotiated before he stopped comunicating?

Also what are the figures for pensions, savings, salaries etc
