Who keeps the house.

Can my wife just decide she is keeping the house? I agreed to move out in September for 6 months. She then changed the locks etc ...
She has now fitted a new back door where there was a window and ripped the living room out ready to revamp the house with a bigger kitchen.
I just don't understand how this can be legal?
We have a 13 year old daughter who lives with my wife as I'm only home at weekends due to work.

50/50 is the starting point, she may get more due to DC. If she will agree 50% I would go with that.

PP mentioned pension. You could be entitled to %50 of hers , and vice versa. Maybe she would agree more equity to you now so that you don’t touch her pension?

Get it all drawn up properly and make sure you sign a clean break order too.
