Is there a way to access the Duxbury tables free of charge without going through a solicitor? My Ex wants to stop monthly payment so I’m trying to get a capital figure for my periodical payments.

It's not possible to access them free of charge, although I believe you can purchase them from a legal stationers. However, they are not easy to interpret.

Is this long term spousal maintenance you are talking about in which case you may need the tables? If it is a shorter term order, you could add up the maintenance that would be paid to you and discount it for taking it earlier.

You will need your ex's agreement to capitalise it and they will need enough capital to pay it.
