A quick question.... my marriage but the dust in Feb last year, from that point we didn't share a bed or even speak really, did things separately with the kids etc. He moved out in June last year and I want to start thinking about divorce, but as we coparent without drama, I would prefer the separation' grounds. Can I use the February date as the point we effectively stopped being married?

Yes, if your husband agrees to it and accepts the divorce petition.

Seconded.
If both parties agree the courts do not seem to check in detail for evidence of separating, which of course would be difficult as you can be separated but still under the same roof.

I slept with my youngest daughter for 6 months before finally moving out. As people have said so long as he agrees then it's not an issue. Get it done asap is my advice. Good luck x
