Finance arrangement after divorce

Hi,

I just wondered if anyone has sorted the financial arrangement after the divorce.

How difficult was it to get it sorted. Was it harder to get anything. I have a solicitor but I am worrying about spiralling costs.

Stay realistic. Realise the other person will need money to carry on their life too. Don't get stuck in titt for tatt arguing over items or the potential value of those things. Accept everyone loses things they wanted.

If you do all of those things you should be able to navigate it as quickly as you can without huge costs, as long as the other side does the same.

If you don't have a reason not to, like domestic abuse, you can get court appointed mediation for a very reasonable cost. If you ever intend to go in front of a judge you'll need to do that anyway.
