Solicitor has quit on me Help!

Hello

My solicitor has quit on me due to lack of funds on my part fair enough I do not have the means to pay her but.....

Final hearing in less than 8 weeks gulp

LIP all by myself as said lack of funds

what would you do in this situation ?

@IsItBetter hey, who knowsWink I certainly don't have a grudge against anyone who has the good fortune to study at a Russel Group uni.

But from experience, lecturers and students alike have told me firms will go for the 2.1's & 1st's over the 2.2's (whether you achieved it blind, on the moon- whilst doing world saving duties) or not!

Maybe they need to update their grading system them so it's on par with the other uni's.

I’d never choose to be a lawyer - there are other careers available for the equally-well qualified! What is wrong is a private family matter - a divorce - cannot be resolved any other way.

@NotBeingRobbed A marriage is entering into a legal contract with somebody- hence why the law is involved when you want to break contract. I can understand it's probably annoying though and an get expensive if dragged out/one person doesn't cooperate.
