I told him last week I want to separate, he was expecting it as we haven't been happy for a long time.
So now I've said it, when do you refer to them as your ex?
It will be months before he can afford to move out so I feel we will be in limbo for a while and can't tell the DCs until this happens. I have told a few people that I trust.
What happens now? We have 2 DC, I will be the resident parent, he will move out. We have a house and he has a good pension. I paid the house deposit with an inheritence which I have been led to believe I may be able to get that back. My offer is for H to let me have the house and I won't touch his pension, he wasn't keen on that idea.
I want to go back to my maiden name and double barrel the DCs (he has agreed), how soon can I do this?
Also we haven't shared a bed for 10 years. Can we use this for ground for divorce rather than waiting 2 years?
