Pension sharing

Ex and I are divorcing and our only assets are our pensions. His is worth £100k and mine £30k. What kind of pension sharing is likely to be ordered?

We have 2 children who live with me if that has any bearing whatsoever. Currently on extended mat leave/career break until my ds (not his) goes to school then will be part time. I'm a single mum. Ex works full time and also has other children with current girlfriend.

We're you married?

Sorry saw you are divorcing so obviousky married.

I don't think anyone can give you an answer. You being on and leave or career break isn't really something he is responsible for since the child isn't his.

How long have you been split?

PerverseConverse · 08/11/2018 19:30

Split nearly 6 years. Married 2007.

Thanks. He's vowed not to give me a single penny so we'll see what happens at court.

My pension is in an old scheme so can't add to it. In that case I'll need to open a new pension account or whatever it's called. I should hopefully be able to use the sane company as they've opened a new scheme.

Judge awarded nothing at all. Was bullied into a clean break. She was vile and bullied my solicitor. Ex lied about his finances and she didn't give a shit. Very unfair process but at least I'd rid of the bastard now.
