Coparent abroad - right to know where?

If for a weekend away does the other coparent have a right to know where?
I assume probably not?

Depends on your custody agreement. It would be polite to, but if it's not in 'your'time amd court doesn't stipulate, then no. For weekends away I wouldn't expect it (it wouldn't be offered, and the fight would be immense) if away abroad then it stipulates that the other parent is to be aware of any location the child is staying in.

I think it’s nice to let the other parent know, would you want your kids to go away in their town and you literally have no idea where? But if it’s in your time then technically I don’t think you have to tell them
