Consent order

Building on my previous thread, what happens in England when a consent order is drawn up? I hope I can come to a financial agreement soon which we will ask my solicitor/ his solicitor to draw up into a consent order and send to court.
Do we need to show we have been to mediation? What else will we need to supply to the court. We filled in a long financial form for the mediator ( not a Form E but very similar). Thanks all.

Does it matter if we use a different solicitor to draw up order and submit.Mine got us to Nisi stage - can his do the consent order? Or do we have to use the same one?

Hi we did our consent order ourselves using an online solicitor company. You don’t need to mediate if you all agree and it is a fair split.
