Drug tests

My baby's father is an idiot. Addicted to weed and it makes his selfish, paranoid, agitated etc. and I am not comfortable leaving my son (12 days old) in his care unsupervised whilst he's still addicted. How could I go about getting him regularly drug tested? Would I have to go down an official route?

Refuse contact unless he shows you a test confirmation that hes clean. Otherwise let him apply to court. They will involve Cafcass and they can insist on testing. I recently spoke with SS about my concerns over my ex as hes a drinker and they said if I allowed him to take the children out then they'd consider whether I was safeguarding them appropriately. You don't want to be in that position.
